Typo in that URL. Correct URL: http://www.srebrenica.nl/en/index.htm. > I haven't been able to get that website all day. Has anyone else? Yesterday, the Dutch government accepted their responsibility (but not the blame) for the failed mission: the entire cabinet resigned because of the report. http://www.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/europe/04/17/dutch.government/index.html The article is wrong on the size of the NIOD report, BTW. It claims to be 7,000 pages but is in fact 3,400 pages (or 4,200 if you include the additional studies). Previously there was *some* support for a Parliamentary Inquiry about the Srebrenica mission. Now, with the resignation of the government, a majority in Parliament appears to be in favour of such an investigation, which means there is almost certainly going to be one. Some people are not going to be happy.... The resignation also has some other consequences. Yesterday, Parliament was to discuss whether or not to join the development of the Joint Strike Fighter, which could lead to orders for Dutch industries worth billions of dollars. Now, however, the discussion has been postponed. As the cabinet now only has a "caretaker" task till a new cabinet has been formed after next months general elections, the government cannot make decisions on issues of such scale. The US, however, wants an answer by (IIRC) next week.
