Not necessarily, but since you drew the parallel, let's look at it.

A single entity feels under attack by his neighbors.  He feels that his rights are 
being violated, that his neighbors hate him (and have indeed treated him poorly in 
some cases), and that he has to fight just to survive. 

The neighbors feel that the single entity in question is using his position of 
strength to try and bully them into submission and silence.  That he puts his own 
needs above everyone else's, and has several times indicated a willingness to "delete" 
his opponents.

Those of us standing on the sidelines watch them tear at each other incessantly.  We 
would love to see them make peace, if not actually love each other, before their 
conflagration drags them in and burns the world to a cinder.

Neither the single entity nor its neighbors can set aside their anger and hurt to 
actually stop fighting, and all the calls for peace fall on deaf ears.

Anyone else see the disturbing parallels?
