:)  It's OK.  There were sometimes enough good posts in one week that
the selection job wasn't the no-brainer it was other weeks.  But even
people who disagreed with the selection in a given week seemed to be
happy overall.

It is a cool idea, and if you can do it, that would be *really* neat.

Even if you don't get it set up on a website, if you just want to select
one post a week to be singled out for kudos, I don't think anyone would
object.  Once it got going, I bet people would e-mail you with
nominations.  (And some posts are good enough that they get nominated
on-list and seconded and "me too"-ed.)

I think that if someone were doing that on a regular basis, the level of
posts might go up.  (I can always dream....)
