It's working now. The only thing: I copied and pasted from the web site, so maybe the font messed up the mail daemon?
But get this: the first message sent to the list, about having red hair, I typed and sent yesterday. So it got in the message queue, and then didn't do anything for 22 hours. No error messages. Right now I am getting double the messages. I sent set brin-l mail [postpone] after I subscribed and got an instant error message. However many times I read the help email, that looks like the way to do it. I just sent set brin-l mail postpone a few minutes ago, no reply yet. Kevin T. Thank you for all the help.
