Hi Gautam! I wasn't going to mention the better phrasing of "Three Little Birds" I wrote and posted at rec.arts.books.tolkien, which has a meter of 4-4-3, or 4 for 3 or 1.3333 with the metaphor of writing as hitting, and a "game" as a contest to see where the Brin-L get together should be held. The better phrasing is: Sinungaling! Alin, ako? Duh. Which translates to: Liar! Which, me? Duh. And it has a meter of 4-4-1, or 4 thousand. God typically goes 7 for 7 in a game, therefore, it is possible to be better on some days, but overall God's 1.000 batting average (okay, .997, he made hairy armpits) over the lifetime of the universe is still better than mine. There's an alternate phrasing than those which I mentioned, but I'll leave that as an exercise for the student.
