A proof by induction is not really a proof. However, it does carry that
weight a long time.
Forwards and backwards.

If the Jesuits in the 16th and 17th century could convince a petty noble that
he's God, a small-town hick that he's the re-emergence of Jesus in the 19th
century, then, well, they could convince a lily-livered carpenter's son that
he's God too.

It's easy.

The differences between Tokugawa, Brigham, and me are small. I've managed to
convince everybody that they're God too.
