Alberto reminds me [or Aldous, take yer pick] of an issue I have been 
considering.  It seems, and geneticists will correct me if I'm wrong, that 
potential has little to do with *direct* heritage.  That is, if your parents 
are dwarfs, your children may be tall, may be giants.

Therefore, and this is tre-obvious, an education system that is fair, 
balanced, and allows for social improvement is required.

The Booker scheme ain't bad, and I was using it as a start, but formal 
education is the goal and always has been the goal.

Duh.
