In other words, if a human's memories and personality are uploaded into a computer, is that "mind" still a human mind or is it now "just" a computer program? And if such a mind can be created from scratch (as in an AI in an android) (I don't think I've ever seen so many two-letter words strung together...), would it be treated the same? I guess I'd have to ask if it passed the Turing test.
