No, don't compliment some old work I am ashamed of... Aaaaaarrrrrgggg!

Ok, I am not actually ashamed per-se, but I do see it as ameteurish looking
back on it now, and why not, that was one of the first scenes I ever put
together. The original AVI that only weighed about 1.5 MBs has vanished
(that happens when you do system reinstalls and/or get a totally new system,
both of which I have done since making that scene). I can re-create it from
the raw images or upload one that is 2x larger, but I really haven't felt
the desire to... The scene was so old and done in a very ametuerish way, I
really didn't feel like I should. I have done better since, and plan to put
together more scenes from Startide and replace the existing 3-4 year old
stuff there. Well, against my better judgement, I just uploaded one that
weighs 3.5 MB, the compression codec is butt-ugly though.

Here are the scenes I plan on doing when I get the time (I will make them in
the order that they are listed):
1) Creideiki Coma/Dream Sequence. I will be using the instrumental "Elegia"
from New Order for the background music. I have already started working on
the effects that will be needed for this scene, and it is coming along well,
as soon as I get some free time to work on it, it should be wrapped up
fairly quickly.
2) The Tsunami. This scene may or may not include space scenes of a
Thenanin ship getting attacked in space. This scene will take a very long
time to produce, as I will have to make many models, including people,
places, and ships (fortunately, I already have a good dolphin model that
everyone I have asked seems to like), and it is a long, complex sequence, so
set-up and render time will likely be huge.
3) Remake of The Appearance of the Tandu Fleet using a different effects and
different. models. I may or may not make this scene, depending on time I
have and the level of inspiration I am feeling. I will probably use an
instrumental from Prodigy, Front 242, or Faith No More for the background
for this.
4) The flashback to the derelict fleet. If I do this one, (once again
depending on time and inspiration) it will be a little different from the
norm, as it will be rendered entirely in black and white. Definately using
an istrumental from Front 242 for this one.

Once the first 2 are done, I will likely purge the old startide stuff off my
site, so if you like the stuff there, better save it to your hard drives
while you can (though depending on how much work I have to do in the coming
months, I may not have much time for Lightwave, in which case, it may be
many months before I have those done.
