Well, we're not planning on moving again for quite awhile, so I don't
think we want to invest in the bankers boxes.

Most of our stuff is going into boxes which are 14" X 14" X 10", which
is about my limit for lifting full of books. It's also perfect for
making 6 stacks of standard mass-market paperbacks for very easy packing
of books. (Packing the other books takes a little more effort, of
course, but it's not too bad.) We have some 18" X 12" X 12" boxes, but
I'm trying to use those only for things that won't fit in the other
size. (We have 8 books that won't fit in the other size....) We also
have a few wardrobe boxes for clothing that really ought to stay
hanging, if possible. (And with the wardrobe boxes, it is.)

There are 104 boxes packed for moving in this room. 98 of them are the
14" X 14" X 10" ones.

        Julia

off to pack yet another box of books (59 of the boxes are book boxes,
and a 60th is packed and waiting to be brought in here from the living
room where it was packed)
