I've been around the bend a few times. (Talk about mixing
metaphors....)
Just to give you an idea of how today went, after putting up with a
reasonably awake but cranky 1-year-old for a couple of hours, lunchtime
finally rolled around. I grab the top bib on the stack, and it's the "I
Love My Mommy" bib. Nice sentiment. Almost makes the morning
worthwhile. Until he grabs it and throws it on the floor before I have
the chance to put it on him.
The rest of the day went similarly, except when he was napping and when
Dan took over babywatching so I could go out and grab us some dinner,
and then after dinner when Dan took over for an hour so I could work on
packing up stuff in my closet some more. (I'm mostly done with that. I
hope that before the weekend is over, I get everything in there packed
up except for the clothing I might wear before the move.)
