The only way I could try to get around this is to suggest that the only
perceptible ideal objects are the ones that mirror patterns in reality! Who
said there are patterns in reality anyway? Sheesh!

As I said to myself last night, some people rule themselves by pre-built
fabricated things called principles. Other people use ideals as guideposts.

In one instance one acts by rule of rule, and the other by rule of reason.
That is, with principles, you only have the choice to follow the rule or
disobey the rule. With ideals as "stars" you can follow them directly,
follow them exactly the opposite direction, or follow in some other direction
skewed as you see fit, allowing for situational influences [not quite
relative morality -- hmmm, art vs pornography again].

I'm a geeenieeus [yeah boss you are, one in 10 billion <number of homo
sapiens alive or dead>].
