Not only do chimps communicate, they can write too -- look at how they use sticks as tools to catch ants. Since they can sign, and they have the dexterity to use sticks, they can write. This has been tested, I just haven't seen the results.
It takes brains to figure out how to communicate effectively, more brains than 6 billion minus one homo sapiens. That is, knowing the Sermon on the Mount allows them to mimick it effectively so that I could receive the signal. Really cool. Or else it's Martians, or else it's God. I doubt God was involved in this one [at least the .260 hitting God]. Mark
