Hardly. The Audidy is the step up from the SBLive!, and has effectively EAX3 and several other features which while you can do with a SBLive! eat CPU power. I agree, tho, that unless you're a musician or a gamer (or have lots of money), get a SBLive! value. Andy BTW, that reminds me . . . What is the name of the standard default program in Win 9x for playing stuff like .wav and .midi files?
