Maybe somebody here can help me... I'm working on my daughter's family's computer and it's driving me nuts. A friend installed an Ethernet card, so I have it on my network, configured, etc. However, whenever I try to use the Web browser, the dang dialer pops up a dialog to call the default dial-up connection. I can't get it to go away, short of deleting the connection itself, which I don't want to do. If I cancel, then the browser thinks it's off-line.
