Unless the God is lying. The scenario is of course a metaphor for what I believe -- whatever the mechanism [the universe itself?] God made it and we live in 2 layers of reality. If one was a microcosmic God, as in a short story I read in college, and told his creations [really God's creations, a degree removed] that he was omnipotent he would be lying too. Wanting things done is not the same as getting them done. I want world peace, plenty of love and laughter and children in my life. I'm doing something about it, playing with the cards I've been given. That those cards trump anything else I've ever seen on this Earth is of no consequence to me, I'd still play with whatever hand I would be given [think of me just about 100 years ago -- I'd likely have been captured by the Americans or the Spanish, tortured, and then executed; hey that happened to Aguinaldo, though Rizal went off into lala land, same difference.]. That I'm also curious of the mechanism, and try to explain it is also a sign that I am like God, because he created me in his likeness. Therefore, I assume he'd love the idea of a universe both in a fishbowl and turned in upon itself, since his children keep talking about God and Satan. I keep telling y'all, Satan's not a bad guy, just dumped on by Jesus. Mournblade was just as good.
