When internet was thought up, the idea was that it would provide
connections even if a war would destroy most of the regular information
infrastructure. Today in Europe 'KPN Quest' went into bankruptcy. They
provide over 40% of the Europeen internet infrastructure. So if their
network is gone it will have a noticable impact on EU internet
connectivity. So I wonder if internet infrastructure amassed in one
company isn't undermining the whole idea internet was all about?

And now I wish all of you a nice day discussing. I'm off for two days
for a visit with some longtime friends of mine, leaving Jeroen at Tom's
mercy,... I mean leaving Jeroen to babysit Tom. ;o) Looks like Tom is
well rested and up to the challenge. Poor Jeroen. :o)
