Possibly because after spending hundreds of dollars for the whole package
(Windows, Office, etc.), they expect anything that costs as much as a new
washing machine to work at least as well as they would expect a new washing
machine to, not require repairs (even free ones) every couple of weeks?

God bless America,
Land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America!
My home, sweet home.
