1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. [comedic or otherwise]
2. Thou shalt not make yourself a graven image or any likeness or image . . .
that you should bow down to them or serve them because I am a jealous God.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain; [your nose is
sovereign]
for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [work six, rest one]
5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land
which the Lord your God gives you [and build toilets because your father and
mother taught you how to use reason and logic]. Thereby:
     a. Thou shalt not kill. [when you end a life in cold blood]
     b. Thou shalt not commit adultery. [when the father and mother don't
practice what they teach]
     c. Thou shalt not steal. [when your father and mother cannot feed you]
     d. Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor. [when your
neighbor does nothing wrong to you, these exclusions do not apply]
     e. Thou shalt not covet [that which is rightfully] your neighbor's.
     f. Thou shalt not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make
for yourselves gods of gold. [unless you feel like it, and they please you,
and you admit they're not God, as heretofore expressed and described in
statement 2]
     g. Indentured servitude ain't all that bad, if it's for six years only.
[and an option is given for the seventh and successive]
     h. Conditions for killing, slavery, and other community acts listed
below
<snip>.

What if you're not Christian or Jewish? The one law, written by me in 2002
supercedes Moses' law, is shorter, and much more elegant.
