In the movie, Ghandi asks AP to leave, saying that Indians must produce the Indian solutions without taint of outside influence.
Similarly, each community should decide amongst themselves what is good for themselves. That is democracy and representative government. I don't even see why this is a question, unless you think I am claiming Beelzebub, Satan, Lucifer, Mephistopheles, or even Dr Faustus. Everybody haggles over the price of faith, in that everybody consults conscience, weighs options and makes decisions. Is God conscience? I don't think so; faith in God is absolute, without haggling. Faith in other things besides God carries prices as if we were in one big Walmart or Target. Figure it out, for Chrissakes!
