AFAIK, all land vertebrates are naturally 
five-fingered, and those that exhibit a 
different number of fingers do it because of 
deletion of one or two fingers [BTW, this is 
the reason why birds aren't dinosaurs, because 
the deleted fingers in dinosaurs are not the 
same as the birds]
