Proof against Pantheon:

Zeus gives an order, say, Achilles has to die in a war. Mercury speeds his
way to the Fates to give them the message, but Prometheus, or Athena, or
Apollo, or any number and or coalition of gods disagrees with the order, and
gives Achilles an Aegis, or shield proof against the Fates. Who then, shall
I, as a regular guy, look to to obey. Whose will shall I attempt to carry
out? Who is my God? Zeus? The Fates? Athena & Crew? Apollo? Myself?

That's the Greek and Roman answer. Atheism.

The monotheists, however, see a problem with Atheism, and it's the Ayn Rand
problem. There's no unity in Ayn Rand. The universe makes sense, thus there
must be One God, and there can only be One.

Okay, then let's see if Pantheon works with monotheism. Let's arbitrarily
pick Zeus. Is then evil anything that goes against Zeus? No, Athena is wise
and beautiful. Athena is logic herself. Without Athena, we can not even
conceive of anything outside Myself [meaning, Descartes' cogito ergo sum].
Zeus fucks mortals. A God that gives dignity and respect to Myself would not
fuck mortals. Therefore, God does not fuck mortals and Zeus is not God.

Pantheon: Okay, we're a bunch of Gods that fuck each other and leave mortals
alone.
Me: Fine. No king, or royal family, or set of priests is celibate to the
extreme that I would have to say they're God, because one of them, if they're
Pantheon, will fuck mortals one time or another, because they have to
propagate, and the other result is hoemophilia [blood disease]. If one of a
Pantheon fucks mortals, he or she is not a member of a Pantheon. Sooner or
later, every member of Pantheon becomes dead or mortal. These are not God.
Pantheon: Okay, we're a bunch of Gods that fuck each other, and never take
mortal form.
Me: Fine, which one of you shall I follow? Who is your King?
Pantheon: Zeus.
Me: Fine, he's God.
Pantheon - Zeus: what about us?
Me: You're totally unnecessary, except for Athena. Maybe I'll keep you
around for entertainment, and symbolism to express Athena, because she shows
me that Zeus exists, and Zeus is worthy.
Pantheon: Eff that, let's kill Zeus.
<time passes, Zeus is obliterated>
Me: Fine, which one of you shall I follow?
Athena: <smirk>
