I get feedback from both sides. Well respected gentlemen like my father hate
the idea of changing rules in the church just to satisfy one small group of
freaks and their overbearing monstrous egos. The solution is for freaks to
quit the church. In my case, I've done just that, and joined the Church of
Convenience, wherein I've appointed myself deacon and engineer priest. I
don't think Zaner or Vaughn mind.

The other side are the decent and gentle [my ass] folk who don't like to be
called "freaks" and who wish to change the traditional church into a more
modern, more welcoming and logical institution. The solution is to stay with
the church, effect change from within, and accept that a small group of
dissent won't achieve much except bad will on all sides. In my case, I've
turned a small group of dissenters [me, Zaner and Vaughn] into something like
a billion, so I get to play Karl Marx now, in the Church of Convenience. I
don't think Zaner or Vaughn mind. But then, I'm me [quantum guy, also VS
pleaser <more on that later>, also guy who codes iso-roguelike on a parallel
processor], and you're you, whoever you are, even the Falconer, Zaner, or
Vaughn. When you get to be like me, you can do what I can do.

I can give no better advice.
