It depends. I've found that if you have a large group of bright people
where the minimum combined score is around 1200 that it's very rude to
discuss SAT scores.
And if you test well enough to have gotten over 1300 combined, there's a
decent chance that nobody *wants* to discuss their scores in front of
you, so you don't end up knowing how much people discuss their SAT
scores in general.
