I think that peregrine falcons have been clocked at close to 200mph in a full stoop, and on land cheetahs at 70mph, but of course (as someone has already posted)we humans can fly at hundreds of mph in jets, or thousands while in orbit. I'm not sure of the fastest sea animal, but seem to recall that it's one of the smaller cetaceans...about 35 knots?
