Selig is still an owner in everything but name. 'Oh my daughter owns the
team, I have nothing to do with it.....'

The whole trouble started when Giamati had his heart attack. Commisiners are
needed but some really screw up. Mountain Landis with the Joe Jackson and
the black sox scandal, the stupid asterix with maris's record and the pete
rose problem.

They should have lowered the pitchers mound back down and never added those
four teams (three?) Philly is a large city that never fills it's stands,
they says Detroit is small market, yet it's the tenth largest city in the US
with (canadian city) on the other side. The red wings had no trouble this
year (yeah!)

It be nice to make George Will the new commish but he is so against the DH.
That's only been around for 29 years. It was added to speed up the game!
(Well that didn't work, NL games are faster then AL)

Oh well. I love baseball, and could care less if they strike. I'll watch it
when it's on.
