Define "a little while". I have Model S331 at
http://www.kidcoinc.com/safety/safety.htm#locks and so far they're
working great. I installed them starting mid-June. The only problem so
far is that I installed one of them just a little low, and if you yank
hard enough, you can open one of the cabinets. (Fortunately, there's
nothing really dangerous or breakable in that one....) The drawback is
that they're very expensive. A single cabinet lock at Babies R Us is
$6.99. If I buy them through One Step Ahead, I get a slight discount
when I get 2 -- they're 2 for $11.98.

If you have some of the cabinets in pairs where the handles of 2 of them
are right next to each other, there are various products to hold the 2
handles together so that neither cabinet can be opened. There's one on
the first page I posted a link to, S110. (But most of the stuff from
Kidco is on the expensive side; S110 is $4.95 at One Step Ahead, which
is a bit much, IMO. There are cheaper products that are almost as
good. (Saftey 1st is a good brand, in my experience.)

I know how *that* goes. Now that I've located the boxes with a couple
more cordless phones, I'm going to set one up in here, and have the base
unit WAY out of reach. (Later this week, though. I emptied 9 boxes
yesterday, some with my mother's help....)
