Right - *information* can't be transmitted faster than light.

HOWEVER, silicon chips these days send messages very fast, but 
resistance means that it's NOT lightspeed. This offers the potential 
to speed the chips up so messahes in the chip are sent FAR closer to 
lightspeed.

Be years before that's practical, but it's entire possible.
