I heard about something like this on a talk radio show. They were
talking about making it look like a wristwatch (and actually putting a
watch in), figuring that the kid would be happier about wearing a
wristwatch than just about any other way they could package it. Under
that scheme, the tracker would cost less than it initially would in the
article above, but you'd have to pay a monthly (or yearly) fee for the
actual tracking service.
(As it was on the radio, and I was more concerned about the sharp left
turn that they recommend taking at 10MPH than memorizing company names,
I'm afraid I can't provide a source for the information. :P )
