I've had distilled water.  I prefer Ozarka, Evian and Aquafina.  (Also
the Glacia they sell at HEB).  But given the choice between distilled
and Daisani, I'd take the distilled.  Also, the gallon jugs of distilled
water at the grocery store still cost more than gallon jugs of the store
brand bottled water.  Purity, you're right.

Also, the Evian is easily bought in the Memorial Union building at A&M,
while I'm not sure how easily I could get distilled water on-campus. 
I'll pay extra for the convenience.  (And if it's a matter of toting the
water there to begin with, I might as well just bring tap water from
home.)
