Ormus is also a nickname or additional name for Prieure` de Sion, the secret
society that supposedly created the Templars and are supposedly still
conspiring to put a king of Merovingian heritage on the throne of a
royal-controlled France. For more details, read _Holy Blood, Holy Grail_ by
Michael Baigent, et al,:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?P26D32EF1 (the Amazon page for this book)
or for a much shorter version of the story:

Ormus was also allegedly the name of an Alexandrian/Egyptian sage who
created a society in the first century A.D. (or C.E.) that had as it's
symbol the rose-cross.

Please don't anyone think that I believe this stuff, I just enjoy reading
conspiracy theory stuff because I find it amusing :-)
