WE Are Members Of A Civilisation. We remember times when the arguments and the flames were hotter and delivered with greater acrimony. Jeroen has been around a long time. We know what to expect from him, and in that he is fairly predictable. We know he is a good person, even when it doesnt show through, or when he makes one of us angry, we remember times when he made good sense arguments or appealed to our sense of fairness. Jeroen is pretty funny sometimes. And we like his wife a lot. On this list we sorta vicariously live our lives together. We have all seen some good times and bad times together. We have been with Jeroen and Sonja during some of their good times and bad times and I doubt anyone will forget those times. And Jeroen and Sonja were there during my dark moments too. That too is hard to forget. I had a brother who died when he was 15. We had one of those classic sibling rivalries going. We hated each other. But he was my brother and I loved him too.
