I have always thought that the best way for a terrorist to inflict terror on
a large group of people (or nation) would be for them to strike smell towns
at random - for no apparent reason. That way nobody would feel safe -
anywhere.
It seems that the sniper in Virginia is doing just that. He has effectively
and efficiently put that entire state into panic.
There is a part of me that hopes that this is an act by a foreign terrorist.
It would make me that much sadder to think that it was an American being
this much of a monster. Of course there are plenty of "homegrown" American
monsters out there, it's just sad to think that one would rear it's ugly
head in light of everything that has happened in the last year.
