FRANKFURT, Germany (Reuters) -- Germans who like to read on the toilet no longer need to take newspapers in with them, but can instead turn to novels and poems printed onto toilet paper, a German publisher says.
http://www.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/europe/10/10/offbeat.tp.reading.reut/index.html I can see the future now! Publishers will release "budget editions" of novels on toilet paper so that even the poor can read the latest novels! When you reserve a room at the Marriott Hotel, you are asked who your favourite author is, so that the cleaning crew can put the matching toilet paper rolls up in your suite's bathroom! People with a dislike for a certain author will not flush the used paper but send it to the author to show their dislike! Bookstores will have special "toilet roll" sections! For obvious reasons, second-hand bookstores will not have such a section... <GRIN> Jeroen "Why didn't I think of that?" van Baardwijk __________________________________________________________________________ Wonderful-World-of-Brin-L Website: http://www.Brin-L.com _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
