A silly subject line. I picked up a copy of The Best of Cordwainer Smith, an author I never really understood a couple of decades ago.
The theme of people not being treated as people just because they don't have the same DNA as people just don't fly no more. [Course that's exactly what he wanted.] But let's see. In one story we have the phrase "to fly without flying" and we have a drug (stroon) that is only found on one planet, Old North Australia (Norstrilla), and an upper nobility in control, the Lords of Instrumentality.... A subconscious coagulation and reformation? Coincidence? Just a random thought, as with my migraines I tend to do nothing but sit at the computer anyway.
