I generally send people to the National Library of Medicine http://www.nlm.nih.gov/hinfo.html Once there select the MEDLINE Plus option, or Cancer/Cancer.gov link There is some good public education material here on lots of topics, but if you are feeling bold and looking for more detail you could try MEDLINE itself for more medical articles. I have a first cousin who was diagnosed before 2 years old and was lucky only to lose one kidney . Initially they said he may lose both/need a transplant and the family was setting up for tissue matching (IIRC the numbers are like 85%). The meds left him voiceless for almost a year, etc, but he is really quite a normal 16 year old now. I hope it works out ok, Dee _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
