My condolences. :P

My birthstate, Georgia, has no role in this debacle;
my current home, Colorado, isn't the home of the
fundamentalist "Focus On The Family" foundation; my
former home, Dallas, TX, was not the realm of
disgraced televangelist Robert Tilton [aside: when I
saw 'Genesis' in concert spring '92 there, Phil
Collins introduced the song 'Jesus He Loves Me' by
saying 'No one in the vicinity resembles this, do
they?' At least, I think that's the title - it's
certainly in the chorus.]. Another former home,
Louisiana, did not host Jimmy Swaggert (last time I
was in Baton Rouge, you could still drive by the
partially-built-but-now-abandoned 'Jimmy Swaggert
Bible College' - it looked like something out of east
Europe), nor had a state senator defended the denial
of abortion to a victim of incest by saying 'After
all, they line-breed animals to improve them, don't
they?'

Stupidity Appears To Be A Universal Birthright Maru
