I'm guessing it has to do with which year the seat is voted on. All the senators whose campaigns or declining to run for re-election right now that *I* know of seem to be Class II, which would lend at least a little credence to my theory. As for the links -- I'm using Netscape 4.78, and I'm getting the new windows without any problems. (Fred Thompson looks *sooooo* serious in his picture....) When I move the mouse pointer over the link on the page listing all the senators, the link indicated is a javascript thing, if that has any bearing on it.
