Ah, I finally get what you
were talking about, abbreviations.

Here we have 3 ways of naming freeways,
any of which can be mixed and matched at
your leisure:


- By the number only ("go a few miles
  down the 5 to the 118...")
- By the letter-number combo (only used
  for interstate highways ("take the I-5 to the 118...")
- By the name of the freeway ("take the
  Grapevine to the Ronald Reagan freeway...")


Yes, there is a freeway named after
President Reagan.
