Perhaps we could set up an option for listmembers like the ones for Brin/Humor/etc called "[MetaDiscussion]" or something like that, making it a little easier for those of us not interested in the discussion to filter it out?
Just making a suggestion that seems to me to strike a compromise between taking all such discussions offlist and the current undead thread that is staggering around dropping bits of rotted flesh all over the carpet.
