Oh, long dead. Dead enough to be made into bacon, which was on the same
grill as the food I ate was grilled on, which is how I got the pig fat
in the first place. (That part of the whole mess is reasonable enough.
What happened after I ate it wasn't terribly pretty, and the unrelated
nosebleed caused further complications.)
