The quadrivalent vaccine they mention appears to protect against ~70% of the cervical cancer caused by those 4 types of human papilloma virus (type 16 and 3 others); the vaccine against Type 16 HPV would protect against ~50% of the cases of cervical cancer, as HPV-16 is estimated to cause ~50% of human cervical cancers. So they aren't going to eliminate the need for Paps, but they might well reduce the frequency of recommended Paps - a very good thing!
