In the past 24 hours, several offlist conversations with my wife have given
me some much needed reminders about the nature of civilized behavior.
Sometimes the best move when faced with a nasty situation is to walk away.
So, I hereby rescind all demands placed upon Jeroen from my last list post,
i.e. that he show me proof, etc.
My apologies to everyone on Brin-L and especially to Nick and Julia for even
posting such a challenge, because in doing so I knowingly attempted to
escalate a situation that has already spiralled out of control.
By the way, Jeroen, you've now "graduated" to my permanent killfile. I will
no longer conduct any future list conversations with you or continue posting
in this thread for any reason.
