No no no! The concept is good, but the wording is wrong. If you call it "stealing" then you risk being sued by the author from which you stole the idea. Therefore, when you steal an idea you should not call it "stealing from" but calll it "being inspired by".

If you call it stealing, then the author might feel offended. If you call it "inspired by", the author might actually feel flattered.
