But it's quite obvious that some moral codes are "wrong".

Better place for _whom_?

When I played RPG, I once stumbled upon a "moral
code", that was not based on deities. In resume,
the character would have to _order_ 7 cathegories,
and set them in order from most precious to
less precious. "Evil"/"Good" would be set based
on the importance of _Self_. "Chaotic/Lawful"
would be set based on how rigorous the other
cathegories would be place [a Lawful Good
character would have a strict order with Self as
the less important, while a Chaotic Good
character would only consider Self the less
important].

IIRC, it was something like:

Self : Group : Family : Clan : Race : Country : Everybody

It's obvious that any moral code that puts _Self_
above everything else is wrong.
