Just imagine, all the ID schemes we now use that could be eliminated. Social Security cards, state or national ID cards could all disappear. One simple scan and you're identified. I know it's scary, but it could also be convenient. Clocking in and out at work, burgler alarms etc., could all be changed.
Military applications? No more friendly fire incidents.
