If the list goes away in the next few hours, it's probably due to the storm
that's hitting us here in the Bay Area. I don't know what the wind gust
that hit a few minutes ago was, but it ripped off part of the roof over our
patio. Just fiberglass sheeting that needed to be replaced, but I don't
think I've ever seen wind like that around here. Power is still on, but
voltage clearly is fluctuating because my UPSes are kicking momentarily
every few minutes. No lightning, or I might consider just shutting down
everything. But what a storm we're having. It's been raining for the last
day or so, but a big line of rain and wind just arrived.

And it looks like another hefty line is sitting 30 or 40 miles offshore.

I won't be around much this afternoon and tonight -- a funeral, friends'
45th wedding anniversary and my wife's staff Christmas party are all
happening this afternoon and tonight. So, if we lose power and the UPS
fails, that'll be it for a while.
