Interesting :) Especially considering the response to your article on Star Wars. I think, in a large way, that's because Tolkien clearly IS fantasy, whereas Star Wars is science fantasy (and is thought of as science fantasy) by the masses....people are coming to *expect* scifi to carry a message, whereas fantasy is seen more as entertainment.
