Unfortunately there seems to be no taste for not throwing the baby out with the bathwater among goverments these days. They can't put the genie back in the battle, they'll simply drive the scientists to countries which DON'T ban them, many of which WILL misuse cloning. *shrugs* This was one part of why I'm not a genetics student anymore.
