My granddaughters, who are 3, wanted to look for pictures and videos the other day. "Barbie" wasn't too bad, though some people do unusual animations with Barbie dolls. But that was *after* I made the mistake of searching for bears
Any information the internet may have on Dutch sea walls is obscured by a lot of other more graphic information...
One day several years ago I was helping a friend of mine turn a vacant store in a mall into a theatre. The mall was one of those which had been converted from a historic building of some sort, so the layout was a little convoluted. In particular, the theatre was near what seemed to be a "new age" beauty shop, so there was a rather constant parade of outre-appearing characters walking by the door while we were installing the lights. I was up on the ladder and needed to cut a wire, so I asked my friend who was below and behind me somewhere to "please hand me a pair of dykes." He asked if I could hold on a few minutes while he went to the beauty shop where he could probably find some, perhaps the two who with spiked hair, thick makeup, and loud outfits who had walked past a couple of minutes earlier when we had both been looking out the door . . .
Maybe You Had To Be There (And Rather Non-P.C. As Well) Maru
(FWIW, the lights worked as long as he had the theatre there, and the place never burned down . . .)

I never dreamed that I would see the last.
